‘Southern Star’ Illicium
Illicium floridanum ‘Southern Star’
A vigorous, variegated form of Florida anise featuring green and creamy white foliage, tinged with rose pink in winter. Discovered by Don as a sport of the species and introduced in 2005, ‘Southern Star’ seems to be the most durable and colorful of the variegated forms.
